WHAT IS RUSH?

Rush is a week-long series of events that includes casual networking sessions, business informational meetings, community bonding activities, and interviews. This cycle takes place at the beginning of each Fall and Spring quarter. The rush process provides an opportunity for prospective members to connect with our active members and learn more about the fraternity’s goals and offerings. The first four days of rush week are open to everyone, while the last two days are by invitation only where selected prospective new members will join us for a bonfire and interviews. Finally, the chapter will extend bids to candidates who we believe will make a meaningful contribution to our fraternity.

WHY SHOULD YOU RUSH PHI CHI?

Rushing Phi Chi means joining a supportive co-ed pre-health/medical fraternity at UCLA, dedicated to helping you achieve your pre-health goals. With our motto, “First to Serve,” we emphasize making a positive impact in both the medical field and the community. As a member, you’ll gain access to professional workshops, mentorship, networking opportunities, and leadership initiatives designed to foster your growth.

Our diverse membership brings together individuals from various backgrounds and identities, creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. We value this diversity, as it enriches our community and promotes collaboration and learning.

Service is at the core of what we do. You’ll engage in outreach initiatives, such as providing healthcare services and supporting local academic programs. Additionally, we offer guidance in extracurricular activities, coursework, and organize workshops for interviews, applications, and the MCAT.
